Episcopal Palace
A captivating façade and clock
The Episcopal Palace is a large building and its oldest part, on the sea shore, is a medieval structure begun in the 13th century and developed in successive extensions. The current home of the Diocesan Museum, this monument boasts a unique amalgamation of styles as it has undergone various renovations. The Mannerist façade is particularly notable.
The magnificent sundial that presides over the courtyard and the Gothic entrance to the old chapel of Saint Paul are also noteworthy.
