Mallorca Coves

The names of these coves elicit sentiment and never fail to impress. This is certainly true of thecoastline between Cala Magraner and Cala Domingos which is known as “Mallorca’s coves”. An area littered with spectacular swimming spots where tourist havens like Cala Domingos blend with virgin coves like Cala Varques. To the south of the island, in Felanitx, we come across the enchanting natural harbour of Porto Colom, with its “barraques” or “escars“ (fishermen’s huts), the moored boats and its colourful houses
