That’s right, the tradition through the legacy and influence of iconic names like Severiano Ballesteros (his victory in the play-off at the 18th hole of the 1990 Balearic Open is unforgettable), or Jack Nicklaus (whose teaching method for Spain and Portugal is offered exclusively at Golf Park Mallorca Puntiró). And then we have those views. Because some of the golf courses in Palma have the added value (incomparable in many cases) helping you improve your handicap with the sea in the background (Son Vida Golf) or with Palma cathedral in the skyline above the green (at the Son Muntaner and Sant Quint courses).

Son Vida Golf
The first golf course in Mallorca, it has the attraction of tradition, further enhanced by the fact it has hosted a European Tour event on two occasions (1990 and 1994).

Son Muntaner Golf
One of the best golf courses in Spain and Europe, with spacious greens, a design that inspires continuous challenges and all meticulously maintained. Not to be missed: it is worth admiring “Na Capitana”, the millenary olive tree the oldest of its kind in Mallorca that silently watches over hole 15.

Golf Son Quint
An open course that allows for a more extensive game while enjoying the views: holes 17 and 8 are particularly special (the position of the latter means you to tee-off directly facing Palma cathedral).

Golf Park Mallorca Puntiró
The only golf course in Spain that uses the Jack Nicklaus teaching method. Its design makes it a challenge for golfers of all levels. The website makes it clear: “Here everything depends on accuracy and the selection of the right club; the golfers’ tactile playing ability will be put to the test, right down to the last stroke”.
