The courtyard at Can Oleza, which dates back to the late 17th century, is iconic as it combines all the elements of what would later become the courtyards of houses in Palma: exceptionally diminished arches, the loggia, Ionic columns with very pronounced entasis and the wrought iron banister.

The beauty of the composition achieved at Can Oleza created a style for renovations in Palma throughout the 18th century.
