In Palma, the swallows sail

Enjoy the unique charm of setting sail on open waters

In Palma, the swallows don’t migrate. Nor do they fly. They sail, and create one of the best experiences possible. The boats called “Golondrinas” (swallows) are named after the “Golondrinas dock” from where they set sail opposite the Auditorium de Palma. All kinds of boat excursions set sail from here, from those with a set itinerary, to private hires or pre-arranged, customised itineraries.

The Golondrinas, also popular in the port of Barcelona, can either have one or two decks and have blue and white painted hulls.

Where can you go on these Golondrinas? Wherever you like! From a trip around the Bay of Palma to Pollensa or Alcudia. From the heavenly Es Trenc beach, to discovering Caló des Moro or Cala Ratjada at both sunrise and sunset. The good thing about Palma’s Golondrinas is that they take you wherever you like, or wherever you let yourself be taken
